Synopsis
A beach front hotel in Florida. Five hundred people have been taken hostage. Many of them are world leaders and government officials, including the President of the United States.
A video gamer is working in the hotel. He learnt his skills playing first person shooters. Now he uses them in a world where bullets kill.
The police are helpless. He is the only one who can alter the hostages’ fate. The terrorist’s hidden agenda is revealed. Harry takes the fight to the terrorists and attempts to bring down the world’s most wanted man.

My Review
I loved this book! The Gamer, given to me by Matt Gantry himself at a card show, was one of the best books I have ever read. The story follows a normal, teen gamer called Harry who uses his gaming skills to take down the biggest terrorist operation in history. The suspense had me on the edge of my seat. Just him creeping through the hotel halls had me scared. Would you be able to take down terrorists like Harry? I definitely would not be able to, especially if I had the whole world relying on me! And it definitely shows that gaming is useful, thats for sure!
I rate this book a 10/10!
This sounds like such a good book! I had never heard of this one before, so thanks for introducing me to that. I’ll look out for this one for my boys!
